It’s difficult to weave the strands and strings without it seeming like a patchwork of non-related specializations bundled Geordian Knot style
In fact, there is a deep golden thread that runs like mycelium through the bodies and phases and canvases of my work. My art is part navigating to a deeper understanding and execution. It is part a life Lived well, deep and to the heart of the matter. To know things for what they are.
My pursuits have taken me to and through multiple industries and sectors, from Editing a very experimental digital magazine, truly one of the first in South Africa at the time, to the experimental training agency that applied emergent Memetic Theory to Marketing. There have been artspaces and community houses I’ve either made, collaborated on, or joined in cities across the world, Jakarta to Amsterdam to Rio to Auroville and beyond. Farms grown on. Offices occupied. Future Circus performances. Djing from the back of a Dutch ArtCar out at Nowhere
